WBC Students Sweep Poster Competition at 2013 International Conference on Wood Adhesives

WBC students Jesse Paris (Oregon State University), Matthew Schwartzkopf (Oregon State University), and Ashley Hellenbrand (University of Maine) won first, second and third place, respectively, in the student poster competition at the recent International Conference on Wood Adhesives in Toronto. Each were awarded a cash prize. Congratulations on this prestigious accomplishment!
WBC Awarded NSF Supplement for Innovative Managing Director Model

The NSF\'s Industry/University Cooperative Research Center program has recognized the innovative Managing Director model employed by the WBC, and has awarded the Center funding to allow expansion of the role. The award will last for up to three years.
Oregon State Awarded a National Science Foundation I/UCRC Fundamental Research Program Grant

OSU faculty Fred Kamke and Ari Sinha have been awarded a $200,000 National Science Foundation (NSF) Fundamental Research Grant, Multi-scale investigation of adhesive bond durability.
